Bridal Beauty

From my journal...

Wash over me, Father. Fill all my voids. Plunge into my very depths. Let Living Water soak into the dry and cracked parts of my soul. Carry me along with You over the jagged rocks and steep falls. Let me be content to simply be carried by Your current.

{Thankful} for spur of the moment adventures

"Anybody up for a early morning photoshoot?", my friend's status read around 7 pm.

That's how it started, but quickly morphed into the two of us driving out Joshua Tree an hour later. Swapping stories, laughter, and chocolate chip cookies, we explored the park late into night. We used moonlight and flashlights to scribble instead of paper and pencil.

Nostalgia | One Tree Hill

Between skyping for a few minutes with a friend in New Zealand this week and realizing I never actually blogged any images from my trip there, I decided wanted to post some now. Yeah, I know it was two years ago. But I still like the photos. All these were taken at One Tree Hill.

Blue Moon

Are you ready for one of my epiphany moments? You know the phrase "once in a blue moon"? A blue moon is a real thing. It's what you call the second full moon that happens in the same month. It only happens once every two to three years. And we had a blue moon on the very last day of August.

Goodbye summer...

We watch the season pull up it's own stakes

And catch the last weekend of the last week

Before the gold and glimmer have been replaced
