{Thankful} for spur of the moment adventures

"Anybody up for a early morning photoshoot?", my friend's status read around 7 pm.

That's how it started, but quickly morphed into the two of us driving out Joshua Tree an hour later. Swapping stories, laughter, and chocolate chip cookies, we explored the park late into night. We used moonlight and flashlights to scribble instead of paper and pencil.
