A thunderstorm going on for hours over the lake... lightening flashing through the windows as we watched a movie.
Canoeing with her family down the river. Turtles, wild rice, dangling feet into the water. Making dinner. Swimming at sunset.
Sleeping in late. Gorgeous mornings. The lake a rich deep shade of blue. Stand up paddle boarding around the island. Making Belgium waffles for lunch while Taylor Swift plays in the background. Floating on the lake. Reading. The sky turning grey and heading back inside for more reading and napping.
Roadtrips where miles pass in content silence and conversations that span the breadth and depth of life and God and photography businesses. Interjections of 'Wait, I like this song, turn it up!' Stops for coffee and all the gorgeous views.
These are just a few of the memories I have from this last trip to visit this lady. So thankful her! We traded ten minute portait sessions before I left. Come visit soon Kelley!
